I know pre war Garands are much more valuable. So what is considered pre war...........prior to 9-1-39 or 12-7-41? Thanks.

I would say pre-war is before the attack on Pearl.

Man, I hope you're right! Mine was a club purchase (club got it fron DMC) made in August, 1941 in fine condition. Some parts may be National Match as it was used by the club for many years for club matches.

Yeah.....pre Pearl Harbor is considered pre-WWII on U.S. Military firearms.

Just FYI on the M1 Garand:

80% = $675
90% = $775
95% = $900
98% = $1050

Add 100% for pre-WWII Winchester or Springfield
Subtract 20% if mismatched
