Default Orientation 10am wednesday...

I went down to wally world today to get a straight answer about when i start. Aparently the background check came thru correctly.... i was getting skittish about it considering past problems with errors. Everything is good and i have an orientation wednesday.

I stoped at the sporting goods counter to check and see if they had any 45acp...and for once...THEY DID!!!!
It was a good day....

GN, I think they should put you out front as a customer greeter . . . complete with holstered .45 and an M-16 slung over your shoulder. You might want to go easy on the beans before your shift though.

Congratulations, GN! I know, as an unemployed American, how relieved you must be. No shame in working for WallyWorld, in fact they are the only employer that called me in for an interview out of the dozens of places I've applied. We have a Walmart.com distribution center right down the road, pretty much all shipping with no need for dealing with the public. The pay was looking okay too, nearly $13 an hour starting pay.

Yeah...and they are "asking" that you leave a couple if there are less than 6 boxes. There were 4 boxes and he asked me to leave one of the the next guy....i thought about it and left 2 boxes. I don't mind to leave some for the next guy... just as long as its not one of those ammo hoarding SOBs...

Pistol you crack me up

But that really is a great idea. I bet shoplifting would come a stop with GN standing at the door looking all mean and junk.

Don't be too hard on the Nut. Life is not a steady progression from the cradle to riches and power. Sometimes you have to do something you'd rather not do. But our loss is Wal Mart's gain. Who we going to pick on while GN is toiling away at WM?

Who knows? He might even end up as the head shopping cart gatherer and get to drive one of those cart pushing machines in the parking lot!

Wish you luck GN. I worked in retail for many years in and after high school. Did it all from customer service to selling appliances and electronics in my later years. I loved making sales. To me it was like reeling in fish.

I learned alot about people and what makes them tick. I also worked for some of the most aggressive companies. Put food on the table.

Oh yea outside of the sales I loved to make:

I HATED EVERY ****ING MINUET OF IT!

I am sincere in wishing you good luck. Glad to see you did get a job. They are hard to come by right now.

At most of the WalMarts I've been to you'd have trouble spotting the Zombies from the rest of the clientèle...
