Ida liked to of seen em push my gramma up against a wall. Theyda had Me and 11 family and friends there, And the cops would have had double their weight in lead.
I remember when I was 11 I had a daisy Red Rider. I was shooting cans and some glass bottles out back. Our next door neighboor at the time didnt like guns and she called the cops and said I was running around with a gun. A cop showed up and took it from me, snapped it over his knee and left with what was left of it.
Unfortunatly for him, I was on our property, Shooting in a safe direction, And my grandmother had a security tape proving that they came on our property illegaly, Forcibly took it from me, And destroyed it, All illegally.
The money from the settlement paid for my first real gun, A Savage Arms MKII .22. Our nieghboor moved away within 2 weeks of my having it. 100% true story, We still have the video tape, ANd my broken bb gun to prove it.-CHar

Charagrin...

Did you guys sue the cop directly or just the department? I hope it had to come out of the cops pocket.... they have no right to act that way.

If I remember right, The cops wages were garnished to pay the precinct back. I dont really know the legal side of it, Our lawyer handled it all. I just had to write a statement and give it to him and he did the rest.-Char

White Hawk --- Unfortunately I have to agree with you. In fact, I am not sure we have a true and honest pro-gun candidate in the lot. Just not a popular subject with the masses so no candidate says much. BUT, I honestly believe the majority - perhaps a shrinking majority - of U.S.ers want the protection of a gun around the house.

Guess I'll add the oldNRA line to my signature!

I've heard Thompson, Huckabee, and Ron Paul speak strongly about our right to own guns...

I still believe the majority of the populace....not counting Mexicans....are still progun...its just that the majority of the people who believe in guns for self defense are pretty quiet publicly about the subject...

Wish there was a viable candidate there. Plus, I am unsure of sincerity in most of what current candidates say.

I was thinking Thompson but since i've heard Huckabee speak i'm leaning more towards him now. I'm from Arkansas at the moment and we haven't had much of a push towards more gun laws down here while Huckabee was in office...so i think he would be a good president.
