Default Marlin 39A

Just wondering about the approximate value and rarity of my 1948 vintage Marlin 39A .22LR. It has little blueing left and now has a newly fitted stock set and is in very good condition. The smith mentioned it as being somewhat rare because it has a 20" barrel rather than the usual 24". It has the pistol grip stock.
