How many will agree with me that the majority of commercials seem to be stupid and pathetic even though the company advertising may seem to think they are funny?
Insurance companies for sure and many more.

The commercials themselves are not that stupid, but the audience they are aimed at are so under educated and downright stupid, not ignorant, that they actually enjoy the idotic premises employed.
Unfortunately the commercial are dumbed down so that the obama enablers can follow them without getting a headache trying to figyre out what is being sold. |

The industry standard of advertizing on T.V. is produced on a 5th grade I.Q. level, always has been. There are exceptions, however few. After watching the news everyday it's evident that the standard is set too high.

I love those DirecTV ads, though.
"Don't have a grandson with a dog collar." "Don't wake up in a road-side ditch." Funny stuff.

Why does nearly every product wind up with a street party thumping to rap music? or in a bathtub holding hands - if that product really worked, wouldn't they be in the same tub?

me, I dislike pretty much all commercials. especially that damned pig!!
if I want to watch my shows I just DVR them and let the wife have her fun while I calculate the ceiling fan speed. then I can later just rip through the ads |

I hate that little bit accent he tries to have. I think he is just a little slimy douche bag myself.
Now I am a varmint hunter at heart. Does anyone else think of nothing but death and destruction when they see tv shows like Meerkat Manor? All I see is meerkats exploding from 50gr Hornady V-Max bullets moving at 3600 fps. OK I am going to go watch Dog be gone and beyond. http://dogbegone.com/ |

the friggin J C Penney's screaming women commercial is number 1 on my hit parade. Weight Watchers screeching Jennifer Hudson is a close second.

I'd like to know why all the commercials are much louder than the TV show I am trying to watch. I thought the FCC passed a law was passed about this.

I wore out the 'mute' button on my last TV.
I don't watch or listen to commercials of any kind.
