Hey guys. It's been awhile since I made my first post.
Finally, I am heading to college next year. And fortunately, I will be stay off campus at an apartment. I am looking to get some formal training to start off the bat first. I am pretty much set on owning a firearm, but still I feel like a good training should help me finalize any decision before I apply to a license. But before I do that, I would like some advice and guide on the entire process for the state of Michigan. I had multiple problems when living in Massachusetts because although I am a resident alien (non U.S. citizen), the state of MA allowed me to own firearms, but my town did not. Apparently the town rule was superior over the state law... I will be turning 20 next January, so anything that requires 21 or above would be out of my sight for now. Thank you all for your responses in advance!
