Obama and the Democrats...

I'm sitting here watching the news about the pork stimulus bill, the budget that obama is pushing that has 1.75 trillion shortfall... etc etc etc

I am convinced that they are "INTENTIONALLY" trying to destroy the country. Some might try and say that its not intentional but rather gross stupidity instead. I have to disagree... i actually think they are attempting to either destroy the country or so greatly reduce its global significance that the US might not ever return to its former greatness?

Like i say... i'm sure you guys might have different opinions, but my mind is set... Its Intentional. And i doubt i can be convinced otherwise.

I'd say your assessment is fairly accurate. They likely didn't all get together and say "Gee, How can we destroy America?" but clearly the traditional values we have long honored don't fit into their agenda and they have done their best to dismantle it. These people simply do not believe in capitalism and the sooner this nation is totally socialist the happier they will be.

I keep asking the question "What will we do about it?" On one hand we have this system of government where the majority rules. Unfortunately we are now the minority. Do we let the majority destroy us?

I wish I could sit back with the wisdom of my years and calmly proclaim "this too shall pass" and someday we will be ok again, but I just can't believe it. It gets harder and harder to hold out hope.

Glocknut, we think too much alike. I have the same feeling, maybe I'm crazy but I think that he is doing it as a way to repay his friends in the Middle East that financed his presidential campaign.

Oh Duh... how could i have been so stupid... they're trying to destroy capitalism and the country is just in the way. I was looking at the collateral damage and not the true target...Capitalism... and perhaps personal freedom as well. Capitalism and individual freedom go hand in hand.

I said in another thread that i felt that these dems are a bunch of thugs... and i guess they really are thugs. Only a thug would try to force their BS Ideas on another person...

Glocknut don't you know the faster we become a third world country the sooner we can get aid from the United Nations? Won't it be cool for those guys in china watching a commercial with Sally Strothers asking for food aid to help a starving litle girl from Manhatten. Wewill beable to feed our families for just 37 cents a day. But the sad part is our average wage will only be about 13 cents a day and half of that will be from our children working in a sweat shop making tennis shoes and clothes for the chineese.

+1 Indeed they are thugs. I didn't mean to imply that I valued an economic system over individual freedom if I gave that impression, but I do believe that control of the wealth is their primary goal. Wealth is power and to have total control of the wealth, they must have power over every facet of our lives. As you say capitalism and freedom go hand in hand.

Ooops, I meant a percentage point or two. I wish it was only a point or so. The great thing is all of my stocks cant go below ZERO which many of them are close to.. Also thanks for the greeting. I've been reading the posts on here for a few weeks now, just haven't had much to say.

In my readings about 20 years ago of several quite pithy tomes on what it would take to get the US totally under the influence and the iron handed socialistic control of The New World Order folks, one of the biggest hurdles to such a massive conversion was the then quite strong nature of our free market capitalistic economy and the relative strength of the US dollar on world markets. It was at that time just incredibly difficult to envision a set of circumstances that would be able to ever bring our super strong country to her knees. Then along came the infamous NAFTA piece of 'scattah' and then the various other pieces of related anti-capitalism trade legislation, agreements and such that have served to totally undermine our historic marketplace strengths and thus to correspondingly tragically weaken the US dollar. For you see that our capitalistic marketplace strengths and the inherent strength of the US dollar both have to be all but destroyed in order to make The New World Order socialistic takeover look attractive. And now what with the results of this last election and the most recent legislative happenings, it is apparent to me that we are now obviously well on the way down the slippery slope to be, only if we are lucky, a 2nd world nation and economy just like our poor European counterparts.

Yep, that too. Now the terrorists don't have to attack us. They just have to sit back and wiat until Barry starts persecuting Christians and Jews. And when he does, I'd be willing to bet all my firearms that he won't even lift a finger against Muslims. So when the Muslims get emboldened and start beating infidels in the street and giving them the ever popular "convert or die" choice, don't expect Obambabababa's "national security force" to do anything to help....well, at least don't expect them to do anything to help you.
