Thumbs up Prayer request for family and friends of Frank Looney

Lost a Dear friend:
Fellow members and Brothers yesterday morning at about 09:15 am my dear friend left this world. Frank Looney aka "Rock Creek Rowdy" thats was his SASS name he belonged to Kanawha Valley Regulators near Charleston WV. His death came as no surprise to any of us. After suffering with Cancer for 18 long months. His wife Sue kissed he good night Wed night. And here is what he told her " I see Jesus coming for me with arms outstreched to take me home" And he lasted thru the night. Think about this Guys and Gals he was a devoted Christian and knew he was dying. And had realized long ago that he knew where he was going. Is there any other way to look at it.

Prayers for the Family are requested. His body will be placed in the ground this Sunday @ 1pm in Clover Cemetery Roane County WV.

I moved this to it's own thread, Jim, to ensure that it gets read; many have stopped reading the introductory thread for this forum.

Heavenly Father, we ask that you would be with the family and friends of Frank Looney at this time. We believe he was right with you, Lord, and is today rejoicing in your presence.
We ask that you would strengthen each one as they deal with this transition which, from this side, often looks like the end.
Comfort his Wife, family and friends with the assurance that it is not.

We thank you, Lord, that you allowed him to communicate to his loved ones that he saw you welcoming him into your kingdom.

And we ask these things in the name of Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

Amen -

Prayers sent from here, Jim. May He wrap all in His healing arms as they grieve their loss.
