08 maxim, help needed - The Firearms Forum

hey guys, we have 2 german water-cooled machine guns, im looking for all the info i can get my hands on here, a friend of ours who is very knowledgeable about guns said that they are an "08 maxim", he also said "08 maxim 15", whatever that is, the serieal number on one of em is #10164, anything will help, thanks alot guys

If you are referring to the Maxim Model of 1908/15, then go to the bottom of this page to the google window. Type in "08 maxim" and you'll get 10 pages worth of history and photo's galore. Hope this helps.
