Anyone ever try this? I'm not sure the wife would like me baking gun parts in the kitchen oven at 350 for 30 minutes!

I have not personaly tried it.
My dealings with brownells though has me confident that it will do what they say it will do. I have never received junk products from brownells. |

I used the bake-on finish on my racegun. It works. BUT, make sure ALL parts are clean of any oils or moisture and follow the directions exactly.

I have to agree with MVP, do it just like Brownells says and you'll never be dissapointed. They are gunsmiths that sell the gunsmithing supplies gunsmiths use.
Word of caution though, messin with the wifes oven can be a death offense! Wait till she's gone, get the job done, then clean the oven so any smells from the job won't give you away. This will keep you alive and make points at the same time. TRAP(amateur gunsmith and marriage counselor) |
