It is all relative...what is the purpose, what is the budget?
In general I'd say a BAR in 30-06. A Rem 870 in 12 ga., and a Pre 70 1911 in .45ACP. |

The budget is whatever you would spend or have spent already..the purposes are whatever you feel you need firearms for..I don't hunt..I am more security/defense minded so my choices would be different from my father's...He does hunt.
Ruger 10/22..Winchester 1300..Glock 26

I would opt for a BLR .30-06, Left Handed 870 12 ga and pre-70 1911 .45.

AFAIK There are two minigun models:
M134 - 7.62x51, 3 000 - 8 000 rounds per minute regulated manually, 56 cm long, 16.3 kg weight (without ammo and battery) (And I'd really like to see you hold it in your hands while spraying at it's minimum ROF )XM214 - 5.56x45, 400 - 4 000 rounds per minute regulated manually, 12.25 kg weight alone, 38.6 kg ready to fire with 1000 rounds belt in canister. |

Hiding? I ain't hiding!
Work caught up with me, but I was lurking here from time to time. My 3 choices, for many reasons, none of them practical: 1) Mauser C96 2) Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III 3) SPAS 12 |

1. Mauser M.98 in 7x57 or 8x57 with aperture rear sight.
2. 20 gauge double barrel hammer gun, choked IC and Mod 3. A .38 heavy frame or .357 Magnum wheel gun.

Rifle: Bolt action 30-06 target/tactical rifle with bull barrel and a Nightforce scope
Shotgun: Benelli Super Black Eagle 12ga with 9-shot magazine extension Pistol: Probably a Desert Eagle in .44Mag. A fully auto Glock 18 wouldn't be bad either, though. A minigun would be cool, but how would you feed the thing? I think I could only afford to shoot it about once a year. And only for a minute or two at that.

1) Kimber Custom CDP II .45
2) Winchester Super X2 NWTF version (Fiber-optic front/rear sights) 3) AR-15 H-Bar Between the three of them, I think I'd be covered in just about any situation.... and w/a .22 conversion kit for the AR, things would be even better! Evan |

Shot gun: any of the ruger 12g pump guns (can't go wrong)
Rifle: Sako safari grade in 6.5x55 handgun: Any Ruger medium frame DA revolver with 6" barrel in 357mag Now it aint just that I'm a Ruger fan, but they do make a damn good gun. It's a Ford/Holden (that would be a Ford/Chevy over there) thing. ![]()
