Default Federal Ordnance, SEM, 45 Caliber

I haven't been able to find very much information on this weapon. Evidently Federal Ordnance Inc. was located in South El Monte, CA (SEM). This is a nice quality automatic (handles are wood). It has an easy trigger pull, handles well and is very accurate.

Can anyone provide some history on the gun and an approximation on what the current market value might be??
