Hi I am new here, looks like a cool place . I currently own a pair of .38s (Insert bad joke here) and a .22 All revolvers. Kinda new to the gun hobby, but I like it alot.
I am also into Muscle cars and classic cars. I have a 79 Dodge Magnum, hence my name MrMagnum. Back to the guns, I seem to prefer revolvers myself, I have corperal? tunnel syndrom and loading a clip is a bit tough. While on vacation in Fla, I did get to fire off a Colt 1911 at a range. Enjoyed it alot . just hard to load the clip for me.

Welcome to TFF. Pull up a stump and get your favorite beverage handy, make sure you have some wadders, it gets deep in here some times.
Here is a suggestion, if you want to shoot semi-auto pistols. Look into the mag loading tools. They make it relatively easy to load mags. They have one to cover just about any caliber for almost any gun. Warning........if you try it, you might get hooked. ![]()

Welcome to the zoo. There are many, many knowlegeable and helpful people here that are more that willing to help with problems or just lend a sympathetic ear. Be careful of that Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, excess recoil from any handgun can and will cause irrepairable damage. Your choices of a 38 and 22 revolvers makes good sense because of the light recoil. In an auto I would not reccommend anything larger than a 9mm due to the recoil effects on your CTS. Just a thought.

Wow another new guy from the Gulag of NJ. Looks like we are into the same things. I just joined myself. I know they make gadgets to make loading magazines easier. I have one that works on 9mm. I don't know if that would help though. You still have to push down the device with your thumb but it does make it easier.
