Actually, they are Hogue Exotic Hardwood Grips, the Staghorn grips of the model 64 I had made though.

At "On Target", a indoor range (Severn MD). I used to shoot my Winchester Trapper 1894 in .44Rem Mag. I bought that rifle because it was in pistol ammo, so that I could shoot it at On Target. I now live in Western PA and I can use it to hunt. As the good Col. on the A-team used to say...."I love it when a plan comes together". Back to the point at hand, the gang bangers would laugh when I pulled out the Winchester. Until they saw the muzzle fire from 9 rounds of.....44mag, then they wanted to stop and talk.

Three-inchers are fun.

We got Daddy and Little Baby.

Then we got Uncle Joe and Brother Billy.

Sometimes we need to go big

Sometimes we need to go small

And then sometimes we need to go mid-sized.

But it's all good.

Alpo, the grips of that 44/40 are great,

I love 2.5" and 3" K/L frame's also. I think a 3" barrel is perfect for a 357 K frame.
I think that the 3" is a good compromise between concealability and accuracy

Have you seen 'The Earl' made by North American Arms? It was based on your Remington.

I love the Ruger SBH's unfluted cylinder. I wish all my revolvers were unfluted. Its just a stronger look.

TheGunClinger, the scrollwork on your bearcat is beautiful. And your taurus 357 (blued) is that a 3 inch?
Anyways, it has great grips. I don't know why Taurus doesn't still offer their wood grips at least as an option.

I believe it is but I cant check it as I loaned it to a friend who doesnt have a weapon down here in Fla. That Taurus cost me $50.00. Wish more of those deals came my way! I bought the Bearcat for my wife but she doesnt like it. I think it cost me almost $500.00. She would rather shoot that blued Taurus and my Walther P-22.

I love 3" k-frame and k-frame like guns. Best combination of concealability and accuracy/power

Yes, .38 S&W....... it was a conversion kit marketed back in the 1980s..... have to use heeled slugs to engage the rifling in that .36 bore.

The top one is a S&W M1917, manufactured for Brazil in the 1930s...... I'm a fan of clip-loading revolvers.
