Hurricane RITA is now a CAT FIVE STORM and I would hope that if you are in her way you are packing your dodo and getting out. I can make room for about twenty plus campers or motor homes here at the home place in Pensacola.
We could always go twice that many if need be with the neighbors place.
Just wanted to let you folks over there know we are here if you need us.
PM or email for a phone number if you are thinking of coming this way.

Ya'll come on over we got plenty of folks here to take care of ya.

We were still living in TX for Alicia in '81 and got beat up, so we know what a strong hurricane will do to ya.

Looks like it could be heading straight to Victoria TX or any wheres in between.We road out the last one a few years but it was only a cat. 1 when it came in at Port Lavaca TX. I am tring to figure out what to do with my 30 firearms, plus 6000 round of ammo. There is only so much room in our Suburban. There is five of us ,got ot leave a little room for luggage,but i do not want to leave any of my guns behind.The last time we were without electricity for only 3 days,but some places around here were out for 7 days.

Even if you don't get a direct hit down there the ole Guadalupe will give you a flood problem with all the rain

Fellow Texans, if you are in the way of this storm and plan on heading north make your reservations now. Motels and hotels are already getting fully booked, plus there is a NHRA National in Ennis this weekend.

Anyone coming North, I am just outside of Dallas. I'll let you guess which town. Anyway, I can help with reservations or anything else you might need.

Dawg, if ya wanna bring the guns up here I can keep them in the house so no rust will get to them. I'll also keep the ammo dry, but I have several thousand rounds here too. It will keep them company!

Make sure to put that plastic gun in a steel box before you sit it down next to the 1911's wouldn't want it to get cracked

I`m packing up to go south, why should everyone get FEMA money-cept me?
Anyone want to travel along??? I`m thinking around 2Mil for suffering and such......maybe buy a distressed house and cash in some more.
