Question Best rounds 7.62x 54 for hunting

what would be the best deer hunting ammo for my MN

for ranges 50-200 yds?

Default Hunting with MN91/30

I'd be hunting for deer with an old Mosin Nagant

and need the range and knock-down power for my swamp
tree stand.

Have an SKS for other shooting.

Ron, welcome to TFF. Here is a link to the Norma ballistics page. You can bring up their round, which is a 180 soft point and see the ballistics for all ranges. Hope this helps. Right now I am at the airport waiting for a plane to Mexico on business.
