Default Dillon Press

Hey guy's I am thinking hard about buying a new press and am looking at the Dillon RL550B. Anyone got one and what are your thoughts on it? Also open to some suggestions on all press's,preferably progressive. I currently own a RCBS and am happy but it would be nice to kick out more quality rounds in less time.

Thanks

Been using a 550B for ~15yrs. Loading many rifle and pistol calibers. Love it. Got the roller handle and the strong mount a few years ago, both are improvements.
A bit of tuning when changing calibers, and things work fantastically.

I've got the 550 and love it! Have bought several quick change units and caliber changes are a snap.

Yup, have two friends with the 550. They both love theirs. I have the 650 and love it.

just recently went to the 550b once you get every thing
adjusted the only thing that slows you down is reloading the primer tubes
but that gives me a reason to get a cup of java

I have a 550 also. Lots of ammo in a short time.

I'm another Dillon booster. Got two and half blue presses...one 550, one 450, and one 450 frame with some parts that needs linkage...too cheap to buy parts...don't really need another Dillon right now.

Working two presses at the same time is really hard, you might have a lot of trouble getting your toes to work for you feeding in brass and bullets to the shellplates while you are pulling them handles for all your worth. Wheeew!

Gunguy stretching the truth a little.
