I finally got to hold a Desert Eagle, heavy and chunky; I couldn't even wrap my hands completely around it it was big. I also got to handle a AO 1911, I'm so saving any penny I can find and getting one.
Bass Pro Shops in Prattville, AL is gonna be my reason to go out and find a job.

Why not get a job @ the ProBass shop? That could be fun!

After getting a Ruger in .454 (which I swore I would never do) a .50ae Desert Eagle is looking mighty tempting. It's built better than my truck and costs more...
I think recoil is addictive.... ![]() |

Not to mention the employee discounts!
I shot a co-worker's .50AE Desert Eagle this summer. What a beast!

Well, I live in Montgomery and the store is in Prattville, which is 30min away on a good, trafficless, day. Going down I85 then trying to go down I65, pain.

Or driving to anywhere else guns are sold!
My wife learned long ago that going to such stores with me was not a good idea. ![]()

Wnen I was in getting my CCW permit there was a lady there, too.
She was average height and weight and maybe 45 years old or so. She told me her firearm was a Desert Eagle... ![]()

Probably meant Baby Desert Eagle, unless she had a over sized hand bag.

I have big hands and a Desert Eagle isn't a comfortable gun for me to shoot.

Went there, again. This time I held a P99AS (can't remember if it was the compact size or the full size) in 9mm and the FN-Five-seveN. Both are fine weapons, I like the Five-seveN, but can't touch the price tag, only $899.99. The P99 was only $477.xx, I might think about that.
To many bloody choices, can't...decide.

Quick question. If I had the money, should I buy the FN-5.7, the Walther P99 (9mm or .40SM), the 1911 (Khar), or find something else. Not to concerned with size, I can concealed just about anything rather easily (save something like a Desert Eagle I don't fond well with carrying a purse around
).I'll take other suggestions into consideration.
