Default New Taurus Revolver..

..at least it is new to me. I was reading the Why does everyone hate Taurus thread and made the comment that I had just bought my fourth one. I thought I would just post a picture of it .

I have been wanting a .45 Colt "Cowboy Gun" for a while and just happened to be in my local gun shop on Friday and saw this one, a Taurus Gaucho Single Action .45 Colt:

Beautiful! Are you going to put custom grips on it?

I am trying to find some Walnut grips now. Do you know of a source for them? I have looked at some "Ivory" and stag grips but I think a dark wood would look better!

Try here. http://www.eaglegrips.com/ I had 2 Ruger New Vaqueros and got some rosewood grips from Eagle for them. Fit perfectly.

Congrats George on your purchase. I know what they say about Taurus, but I have eight of them and love everyone. None of them has given me a problem.
