Pop singer Sheryl Crow recently urged everyone to use only one small square of toilet paper each time they moved their bowels. I asked my wife today if she was doing her part, and I chastized her when she answered "hell no!"

So, how many of you tree hugging, environmentally sensitive, global warming believers have cut WAY back on toilet paper use to help our planet survive? Any side effects you care to mention?

BTW, there is a way to use just one sheet. Anyone know ??

Almost correct Rick. Fold sheet into small square and tear off corner. Save corner. Open sheet and you will have a hole in the center. Place finger thru hold and wipe. Use corner to clean under fingernail.

Maybe Ms Crow does this.

Am I helping? I bought some cloth diapers, & cut them into little squares. After the equivalent of one diaper is used, I mail them to the Taliban.

How can anyone think that basic human hygiene should take a back seat to "protecting the environement"?

Nothing I hate more than stupid celebrities who can't remember how THE REAL WORLD works but try to tell me how to live. These prissy, pampered oversized toddlers need someone to do EVERYTHING for them and they want to tell me how things should be done.

Leave the social commentary and environmental issues to the scientists and get your butt up on stage and entertain me. Dance you Monkey, that's all you're good for.

I voted with the majority on this one. Ms Crow has her heart in the right place, but there are better ways to save the environment, I'm sure. Maybe she should come up with something else, and lead by example -- by, say, walking (or riding a horse) to her gigs instead of flying or driving.

The new liberal religion of global warming/enviroment is just BS plain and simple. She wants people to practice what she preaches like she is Moses down from the mountain.
