Anyone is welcome to drop in and leave a tidbit of humor (or wisdom?) at anytime. I'm a dullard and lack any sense of humor whatsoever but I enjoy posting long rambling posts usually with no point to them or anything else but I like to see how far I can go without using a period. (period)

Well, Thanks fer the ego boost, Marlin. I usually get in here late at night due to my nocturnal nature in my advancing years. Haha.

I usually shove a movie in the VCR and go back & forth from the puter to the TV.

I'm watching 'The Postman' again tonight.

Frankly have shied away from this site because I couldn't pronounce the title, let alone know what it meant. The French sounding phrase, known only to it's founder, may have been an inquiry about what I thought of French houses of ill repute. Used to go into one down on the outskirts of Rabat, Morocco when I was stationed in that area of the world. The Americans knew it as the VCS (Vine Covered Shack). About every other month I used to pull my tour of MP duty (the Navy called it Shore Patrol). The Air Force had a B-47/B-52 base nearby at Sidi Slimane---there was a French Army garrison plus the Legionaires used to come in from the desert nearby and raise hell. IT WAS NOT CHOICE DUTY!!!! Lots of terrible tales come out of the VCS---seemed as if all the French girls had holy sounding names and the Algerian and Egyptian girls had names denoting certain specialities known only to their customers. Believe it or not, the VCS had a green door--later when that song come out I used to think perhaps it had been writen by a VCS customer---"WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR------------"? Nope, I was always a bit scared to enter this site and post---ppppssssstttttt---what does that phrase me---am I going to embarrass you by asking and can you tell me here without getting embarrassed yourself? You ask what did the Algerian and Egyptian gals do that attracted the customers? Naw, you can live the rest of your days not knowing that such things ever existed---Brother, your life will be a lot richer for never having heard!!! Chief
