Check your other post from yesterday.
http://www.thefirearmsforum.com/showthread.php?t=60536 It was developed as a high-velocity, small-bore handgun cartridge and that's pretty much what it stayed until it faded into oblivion. A few folks did do some custom rifles in the caliber (and several versions of an "Ackley Improved" wildcat variant of it usually labeled .22/357), but I'm not aware of any major makers that chambered a rifle in the .22 Jet. |

i believe marlin offered their "levermatic" model 62 (1963-1969) in this caliber and H&R offered a single shot barrel for the model 158 combo (1962-1970) in this caliiber.

I stand corrected Bill. Thanks for the rifle info.
I wonder how that little noisemaker fared out of a rifle compared to the .218 Bee. |
