Default My daughters birthday was yesterday...i forgot.

My Dad mentioned it to me this morning. The month has kinda passed a bit quicker than i expected...
I have'nt seen her in 6 years now. Needless to say, today was a very bad day.

Bad news, Mike.

Hopefully you will have the luck I did. After they got old enough to make their own decisions, they wanted to see if I was still the A$$ that their mother told them I was.

Thank God I have turned my life around and they saw the new me. I now have great relationships with them all.

You have my prayers my friend.

I hope you've already made contact with her and found a way to make it up. How old is she? Apologize and treat her special. Tell her you were too busy talking to all of us and we all send her happy birthday wishes.

My daugher turned 16. I haven't seen her for 6 years, and the last time i did see her she was quite venomous towards both me and to a lesser degree my folks as well.
We have not been able to locate her or her mother. My ex pulled up roots and literally dissappeared off the face of the earth it would seem. We hired a detective agency, but however my ex is living, she is doing it all cash. My ex is a stripper by the way.... I suspect maybe a hooker as well.

I do not know when she will return or even if she is still alive. I turned 40 back on August 29... i sincerely hope i am not a grandfather. That has been one of my leading fears for the last couple of years.

Time will tell what happens i guess...

Thanks for the replys of simpathy everyone.

Sorry to hear that, Mike. I know that's gotta be hard on ya. Hope someday that'll all end up with a happy ending.

It's probably not her fault that you can't contact her. She is 16 and probably knows that it's not your fault. Don't feel guilty, you probably couldn't get a hold of her anyway. I'm optimistic thet she will contact you, even if it takes awhile. Never give up hope.
