Practices paid off. got my trigger control and handholds figured out. Now I'm pretty consistent in shooting. I put on the stickers after each 10 round sessions so I can see the patterns and correct my mistakes.
Best of all, it was a blast! (pardon the pun) Sig P250c 40sw and Sigma 9mm. ![]() EDIT: thanks for your help Mr Mod, I wasn't sure where to put it. ![]()

Thanks Bud, The info you wanted is there.
![]() It's a Sigma 9mm and Sig P250c 40sw. I shot them at 25 feet as written on the targets. I write down the ammo and the distance on every target I shot so I can make a comparison as to their consistency. So far I've shot only Win, Fed and Rem ammo and today I shot the Fed Champs in both calipers. Those are pretty good ammo and most likely to shoot if I can get 'em. EDIT: by the way, the two holes at the top of the 40sw target was already there.

That is some good shooting. Looks like you have improved tremendously over the first 50 rounds from each. Don't you just love that Sig P250, I know I do mine. I started out with it being a 9mm and then bought the .40 Caliber x-change kit for it. I can change it from 9 to 40 and back again in a matter of seconds.

The P250 is a great gun. Never a problem with it but no problem with the Sigma either.

I've never owned a Sigma, heard good things and I've heard bad thing about them. My Son had one a while back and he really liked it. I don't recall ever even shooting it.

When the Sigmas first came out they had problems. They fixed it and added the VE to it so mine's a SW9VE. Now they ceased productions of the Sigmas and introduced the new models called SD9VE and SD40VE. It's the child of the SD and the VE.
Supposed to be better such as better trigger, serrations on the front of the slide and whatever else. Only time will tell now.

I do think you are getting the hang of it, good show. I bet you can do the same at 50' with the same target now just to compare. Just slow down a tiny bit and not rush it and you will be poking their eyes out long before they get close to you. Then you move up close again and see how your groups have shrunk. Most of our shooting is in the mind, it isn't mechanical and we could all do better if we didn't talk ourselves out of it.

I probably can do better if the front sight is thinner. The way it is now it blocks the view of the target.

If your front sight is blocking your "main" point of aim, you may try holding your sight picture at the 6 o'clock position and that way, you'll be able to see the tatget area your aiming at.

That looks like some fine shooting there Sig, you can certainly see the improvement. Lots better than I do with my 9mm Sigma. The last two or three times I have gone out, I left it at home, and just took the .22's. And you know what, I had a lot more fun shooting something I could hit the target with!

Well I guess that won't happen if I continue to leave it at home and only shoot the .22's. I feel like I have given it enough time. I think I have actually gotten worse with it rather than better. I do just OK at 25 feet or so, but I most generally shoot at 25 yards, and the outcome is embarrassing.

I see. It's not really made to shoot 25 yards though you can do it. I only shoot at 25 feet.
