SPECIAL EDITION:

Subject: New Declaration of Independence

In 1776, our Founding Fathers met at Freedom Hall in Philadelphia at the
Continental Congress to forge a document we have come to know as the Declaration
of Independence. They felt forced to convene this convention because of the
tyrannical behavior of their King, George III, the reigning monarch of the time.
Although they had been loyal subjects, faithful to the Crown, they could no
longer suffer under its laws.

We have come to a place in time when we suffer the same fate. A federal
government which is supposed to be kept within the confines of its charter, the
U.S. Constitution, has ignored our sovereign standing and vilified our
unalienable rights. The one purpose for government is to protect the rights of
the people. The people who sit in government offices have long ago burst their
Constitutional bonds and in defiance of our unalienable rights, have persecuted
the People, stolen their rights and their substance.

We can no longer tolerate a government so completely out of control. We are
convening this, the Third Continental Congress to forge our contemporary
Declaration of Independence, resume our power as the People and replace the
usurpers of our rights with public servants.

Enclosed is a file which contains a draft of the new Declaration of
Independence. We are asking the People for their input into the document. It
will be finalized and implemented on the first Monday of December, 2003,
December 1st, so any of the People of the united States of America who wish to
exercise their voice in writing this document, please add your suggestions and
return to dessieandrews@earthlink.net by November 20th.

Once up on the website www.declarationofindependence2003.org, we will ask that
people sign the document. When enough signatures have been garnered, we will
give notice to our public servants that we expect them to behave as such, or
step aside. We can only maintain a republic when we have the several States and
State's rights. We must get the federal government out of the States in order
to have a limited and responsive government as the wise men who founded this
country forsaw. Only then will the People's voices be heard.

Please pass this message on to as many People as possible, so we can convene a
Continental Congress with the contemporary Declaration of Independence on the
first Monday of December, 2003.

I was informed that :

It's because it's not up yet. It won't be active until Dec. 1, the day Congress is supposed to convene.

You can probably expect anyone who signs this to be persecuted by our current government, just as the original signers of the Declaration were persecuted by the Crown. After all, signing this document could be construed as treason or something.

In other words, just signing a piece of paper ain't gonna make the guys in Washington step aside. If our gub'ment is going to be changed, it will likely be through a lot of blood spilled, like last time.
