Exclamation Would you travel to your states capital to show your support for gun rights?

www.savethe2nd.org

My buddy and I created this site to organize a national, state-by-state rally to support gun rights.

It will be a national rally on the same day (April 28, 2008) but in 50 separate locations at each state's capital.

We do not wish to take away members from any gun forums, we are merely trying to spread the word. There is absolutely no profit involved, just a cause that we all support.

Right now the site is simply a forum but we are working on the site everyday, and we expect to have a main page up and running very soon, complete with news, links, printable fliers, etc etc.

So come on by, spread the word, and try to free up your schedule for April 28, 2008.

-Patrick A Krott

PS. It would be a great help if a mod could sticky this

I'll work on it. The decision in D.C. today is a good sign.

that was great news. And I'm sure it will stick too, because the supreme court is rather pro gun now.

I would, but I'm teaching a class that day. I did forward the message to the Sac.Defensive Pistol Shooters.
Good Luck to us all!

Alabama is the only state which the Dems tend to be 50-60% conservative. Virtually no (KA) gun laws, except a few for school protection and CCW licenses, but everyone has those. There might be a few others, but it's those no brainer laws needed for safety in public places, the tolerable and sensible ones.

I'll try for Oly. The 28th April is iffy, but I'll plan it anyway.

Yes I would. I support the right of the people to keep and bear arms and the right to self protection.

I'd be willing to make the trip to Salem for such a worthwhile cause.

My trailer hitch ain't buff enough to tug my spud gun, so I guess I'll stay at home, turning cannon fodder into French Fries to feed the masses before the revolution.

Why 2008? Seems like a quite distant in the future. Why not sooner?

I'll make it to Raleigh. Good site you have started up. I suggest to get the word out you should join all of the progun forums like www.ar15.com glock talk and such. That would be a cheap effective means of advertising and go directly to those who would most likely go.

Keep up the good work.

Yes I will go to springfield next April I also will tell the folks at gunssavelife.com about your efforts. Illinois is a hard sell right now on any gun rights but I think it will make a differents if everyone jumps on the band wagon.

Count me in.

Did this get posted on http://www.thehighroad.org/ and http://www.thefiringline.com as well?

Does the NRA and GOA know about this so they can send alerts?
