Default Primers! I found some!

Gander Mountain actually had 8 boxes of Remington large rifle primers!!
I only bought 2 of them though. I figured I wouldn't be a total pig, especially since I already bought a hoard of them last winter. Someone else needs some too.

You are a better man than I...I would have snagged at least half if not all of them. Sorry to say...well not really...First in line gets his pick and you should get them when you can.

GM, just curious, how much did you have to pay per 1000?

Went to the local mom and pop gun shop, and lo and behold, they had all kinds of primers back on the shelf. Looks like they got in a big shipment of powders, too. Maybe the end of the drought is near.

Still didn't have any of my favorite 4895 powder, though.

Bass Proshops had an overload of reloading stuff on the shelves, unfortunately I missed the primers but they had pounds of Unique, win 748,760 imr4895, and huge numbers of bullets in all calibers. Surprisingly the ammo shelves were packed full too, then again ammo prices there almost require a second mortgage to afford>

No, not boxes of 1000, boxes of 100. And I don't recall exactly how much, but I do remember that it was way too much. Gander Mountain runs real expensive. Anything at Gander Mountain (only 5 minutes from my house) that I want is at least 30 percent more than what's at Bass Pro Shops (which is 2 hours away.)
