Cirillo had a guy run, 2 blasts of 00 buck
in his chest, 14" Ithaca, first one at 6 ft, frontal, second one at 12 ft or so, in the back. Guy kept running, took a .38 to the hip from Jim's partner, fell outside the liquor store he was robbing. He got back up on hands and knees, Jim shot him again with 00 buck, but most of it was absorbed by the glass door. The guy rolled, came up on his hands and knees again, and said:" Hey man, that's enough", and died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The NYPD Stakeout Unit, late 1960's, had a lot of experience in shooting men, and they quickly found out that .45 ball is nothing much as a man stopper.

that's correct. Jim himself told 40 of us
that story, when we set up the IPSC, in 1976, at Columbia MO. The fact that you are ignorant of something doesn't mean it's not a fact, ya know. It just means that you are ignorant of it.
