Default POPs - it worked - carefull what you ask for!! pics

Well - now we have 5-6" snow on the ground. Started yesterday - while I was out working on the end of the refinery pier/loading dock. We have scheduled to build a whole new gangway for the big ships starting Mon. We have been out there off and on for a few weeks hanging over 200-300 ft. water in a flimsy little basket, setting in the new attachments on the pier. They have a tight schedule between Tanker runs and are only giving us acouple days to complete a bunch of work. It is hard to amagine, but we are putting in a 95ft. gangway that has a 15ft. set of stairs on the end. and will go from about 10ft hieght off the pier up to 45ft high. Some of those bigger tankers get pretty high up there when they offload...
Sometimes it is really nice to work out there - yesterday was not one of them

Blue: We don't have a speck of it down here. It peters-out coming down off Bow Hill. Sedro Woolley has some but Burlington and Mount Vernon are bare.

Well, I can't say I enjoy working in that kind of stuff, but it can be done. I spent 4 years in Alaska, where my primary job was inside. However, we had antennae and waveguide outside which needed worked on and, of course, all the out buildings and maintenance, etc. I learned to work in some pretty bad weather and be effective. I did NOT learn to enjoy it.

We are looking at another few inches of the white fluffy stuff this weekend.
