I dont think 5 minutes would be enough time to deal with the person(s) responsible for that despicable act. Anyone who has to prey on the elderly is the lowest form of life on earth and should not be breathing the same air as that man they attacked. They themselves should be beaten sensless, an eye for an eye. I would take it just a little farther and make it so that person will no longer be a threat to anyone else.

Agreed Charlie. That's why it is more important now than for a long time that we stand for what is good, and what is right.

Preaching to the converted however will not help. We need to talk to the young, they need to be given direction and example by those of us who understand. There is hope for a better future, but we need to make it happen.

The problem lies with the punishment that was handed down in the first place. There should never be " Life in prison" that is just adding cost to the tax payers. When found guilty the sentence should be public hanging or firing squad to be carried out with in two weeks.
That is how I feel and all these bleeding hearts can kiss my grits

A word of caution here never elect me to the white house because things would dang sure be different!!!!!!!!!!!

This past week in the area where I work we had a 92 year old women robbed and raped in her home. The rapist/rober then made her take a bath and washed the sheets to hide the DNA evidence.
