I have two Winchester Classic 94s made in 1967 and 1968. One is the short rifle or carbine and the other is the long rifle. Both have some rust damage. The short rifle stock is broken and has rust on the tang and flat hammer spring and at the edge of the receiver. The long rifle has rust damage on the butt plate and the stock is broken. I know about Browning salt wood. Anyone out there have Post 64 94s with salt wood or know if it was common in these models? Also can anyone tell me how to remove the forearm on these models? Thanks
