Default 9mm case identification

Like many reloaders, I like to separate cases. I am finding many cases (my range lets me pick up spent brass) that are marked "FC". I know that 3 manufacturers (maybe more) mark their cases "FC" : Mexico, Yugoslavia and Federal USA. Some cases have just "FC" and some have ".FC.". Does anyone know which is which? Which one is Federal USA? Just curious, they all load up OK so far.

I don't think I've seen any Federal brass with periods. Just FC.

I also don't think I've seen any Yugo brass that was boxer primed.

So OK, "FC" is Federal USA. Any idea who is ".FC."? Mexico or Yugo or....?

This question was answered on another forum. ".FC." and "FC" case markings are the same company, i.e., Federal. FC are made in Minnesota plant and .FC. are made in Idaho plant. It is said that .FC. plant in Idaho has a large contract with Walmart and you will see that case mark on Federal ammo sold there.
