Default New kid on the block

Hey! Ya'll! Morning. Where's the coffee? I just want to let ya'll know, we are expecting a new kid on the block. His name is Taylor Hendon , he's from Brazora Texas and is down visiting his grand parents for spring break. He saw one of our advertisment signs and asked his grandmother to stop him by the gun shop for a look around. He and granny, who ain't a shabby looking honey herself, come by for a look see and visit for about an half hour. He walks up to me., shakes my hand and thanks me for allowing him to brouse. A ole SxS hammered coach gun sat in a corner and he kept eye balling it. He told his granny that he just had to have that gun. I thought to my self, nice kid, and comes with manners to boot. We'll a week later I look up and there he is stand at the counter looking for that SxS. He asked permisson to look at the guns. I asked where is granny was and he said he was with his pappaw today. as Taylor browsed the store for the new stuff that comes in dayly, pappaw and I engaged in conversation. It seems Tayor has a living passion for guns and the entire family supports his hobby. Again as he leaves after our visit, he shakes my hand and thanks me for my hospitality. I told him to hold up just a moment and I walked to the computer and brought up TFF> I told him about the wonderful comradderay we have and that he, Taylor would be welcome here if he elected to visit and join in the knowledge we all readly share with one another. I couldn't think of a better bunch of fellow gun enthuisist to expose the young shooter to. So if he signs in please welcome Tayor, TFF style.
thanks
BG

That truly is exceptional.I really like to hear about our young people being introduced to the shhoting sports.
As far as a correct and warm welcome to the firearms forum, that goes without asking for it.
I have not seen one new person come in without a super frinedly welcome.
These are the best , most knowledgable (collectively) bunch of sportsmen and sportswomen on the internet.

Keep up the good work, BG.

Thanks for sharing your story. Hope the young feller stops in. I'm sure he'll like it here.

Let us know if he ends up with the SxS.

Default Welcome

Hey hbj! Welcome to TFF. Don't let these guys fool you! They act crazy but they are a wealth of info when it comes to any type of weapons. But since you've BlackGun you probably know that!

Had a friend of mine visit this weekend and when I brought up TFF he sat for at least an hour just going thru the posts. He was looking for a paticular gun and when I sent him here his first reaction was the nerves about dealing with folks online. After reading for a while he decided you all may not be so bad after all. Told him you all were the only ones I would deal with so that helped. Maybe when he gets online we'll see more of him.

See Ya
Bree
