When I'm at work and not logged in, all the threads have another 'add' posted after the initial thread start. When I'm logged in, this additional 'add' doesn't appear.

This just started last week. Is that normal?

Bob, I'm not sure what you mean. I'm seeing the same thing logged in or out. Only thing is, my system won't let me log out fully. As soon as I change threads, I'm logged right back in.

Can anyone else help with this one ??

It started last week Sam.

Ya know how the add banners are at the top of the thread? They were still there. But when looking at a thread, another add came up after the initial post. Then all was normal.

Pick another thread, and it was the same thing. Add banner at the top, and another one below the 1st post.

I'm not crazy. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not....

OK, I think I've got it. We are adding another banner in that order and I'll bet SouthernMoss was setting the banner to see how it would look.

Or maybe not. I'll call her attention to your concern.

If I get a vote on the new format with links to the posts, I vote NO, and H**L NO.

I like to be able to see all the posts as I am responding so I can check back with what someone wrote.

Jim, you will be able to do that with no problem. There won't be any links just another banner that you can click on if you want.

OK, here's the deal.

Part of our arrangement with our advertisers is that we put an ad between the first and second post of each thread. This ad is only seen by "guests".

If you are a member, but are browsing without being logged in, you are in effect browsing as a guest and will see the second ad.

Members who are logged in will not see this second ad.
