just a few thoughts on it all and stuff you may wish to know ..

as folks know i get a lot of info , they ask how ..

i have specialist tools that search stuff online , my own version of eschalon

smaller and more focused . jihadi stuff

i search most languages

i dont keep logs , we scan maybe 40 million hits a month , analyse maybe 1,000,000, those million are active discussions or quotes about active jihad or inciting jihad or planning jihad openly via the various social media IRC web sites and forums

thats all run off a 3 year old laptop ..

the program looks for live connections folks posting , up to 15 minutes old ( theres not a lot around past that , that is recoverable .. )

and if it then matches a more advanced second set of rules , we open the page or chat room and log it

everything we access is virus scanned ..

now thats a ex grunt playing online vigilante or something ..

what can the gov do ?? what can companies do ? marketers ?

lefties , nasties etc etc etc..

type in parameters , get all the posters that fit ,

type in going away on holiday might be a bonanza for crooks ..

for those who think a million web pages is too many for a month

some folks think i stretch it sometimes ..

the laptop only has the windows software and scanner package and browser and capture software on it and why the low file count .. it does nothing else ... and no links to anything real

That's pretty neat Jack! Not sure how you keep up with it all, but your right about, why couldnt the gov, etc. do that!
