Good call by the Judge.

We may not live to see it, though, since the appeals process will take forever. Even in Texas where it is easiest, they don't have sentence imposed for at least twn years!

Thats true but its nice knowing he will have an upset stomach and the scoots every time his appeal is filed late....close to the execution date.....

Heck, he may be that way for the entire 10 years.......

you mean he is not dead yet ?

1 year max ,apeals should be cut off ,if they can't prove otherwise in one year tuff luck

why do they wait so long and drain the taxpayers money ,and yes i said money why should we have to pay to help a murderer try to get off ,and this is a whole other issue ,but when a state goes and gets rid of the death penalty why is it not grandfathered in ,charles manson should have died thirty years ago

oh well ,the death penalty doesn't have much time it self in this ever growing pc world

Sorry to be a bit of a "stick in the mud" but I wish we would refer to this guy as "the DC murderer." Sniper is a title and a tactic - earned - we're the good guys!!!

the black community is highly upset ,he only got the death penalty because he was black ,and the green river killer didn't because he was white
