They both have their goods and bads. However, I would have to say that the people here on tff are the most inviting e-group that I've ever seen. When you guys said, "Come on in and make yourselves at home" you really meant it. It is a testament to all of you as individuals. Thanks for making us refugees feel at home.

I've been here awhile anyway although I did spend more time over there.
I like it here and will continue to participate as much as possible. Not that I won't venture over there as well(Heck I'm on 5 or 6 different forums.Give me a break.)All forums have their good points and their bad points.I enjoy them all in their own respect.

Anyway, just what would all you old farts do all day if not for the forums??

Bet if they weeded out all the Liberal, pro palestinian crap and all the flamin it would be slow over there as well!!!

Another thing that makes this place slow, is all the other forums that are available! Kinda spreads things out instead of everything being in general discussion area!

I'd post here more often, but I'm afraid of being called a "senior" member

In all honesty, I browse over there once in awhile, but any real time I spend on any gun related forum, will be here.

We generally let people "start fresh" here at TFF. New members are welcome, as long as they behave. We occasionally get people whose reputation precedes them, but we try very hard to give everyone a chance. So don't worry about it.

Well,

it's like this. I'm fairly new to that other place, which got a bit HAIRY at times, and I'm really new to this here locale.

I used to participate on several cigar boards,(it's my other hobby) but some of them made me wish I was out dancing with sheep, instead of enjoying myself with new found friends.

I didn't even know this place existed, until I recieved an e-mail that informed me that a certain place was now Nunn and void.

I understand that aforementioned place may soon bloom again, which is to say they want us all to Forget Them Not.

I'm not an internet warrior, I come to relax, learn, and enjoy. And learn. And share what little I know and have.

This place is as comfortable as an old pickup seat on a familiar dirt road, and I kinda like that feeling. Think I'll pull up a stump if'n it's ok with all concerned.

I'm not an impulse buyer, so I'll shop around for fun and information, but I don't get on much with pushy sales clerks that only offer what they think I should buy, and if I don't like their approach, I'll take my business to another pawnshopllc.

Information and knowledge is power, so it's reported, and opinions are valued, but if I want something that only a Bushy will do, I don't want a Ruger270,man.

Perhaps my idea (ls) are clouded with ideals, but I had to herd several Texas longhorn cows out of my front yard this morning, with a golf car. They belong to a neighbor. Some people just can't fathom living like that.

To me, it's a natural.

Cuba makes some good cigars, but some of them taste like

In case you missed that, here it is again. It's common now-a-days.

Darn, this is a comfortable stump!.
