Reply Winchester Super-X Xpediter 22lr ammo.

Last night at a Christmas party, I got 2 boxes of Winchester Super-X Xpediter 22lr ammo as a gift. I shot a 50 yard group with it today, and it measured about 9-10 inches

I just got done talking to a friend, and he said that Winchester discontinued the manufacture of this ammo.

When did Winchester manufacture this ammo? The two boxes I got look like they are brand new.

My next group was with Remington Thunderbolts, and it measured about 1 1/2 inches.

I was saying, by that, that they wouldn't group for crap out of my gun.

Reply Clean ammunition?

Hey, I noticed that cheap ammo is very dirty, and is more likely to cause jams and malfunctions. Is there a readily available ammunition, from say Wal-Mart or K-Mart, that won't build up too much dirt in the receiver? I am not necessarily looking for the most accurate ammunition, just something that will cycle well for quick shots out of a 10/22.
