I know this is random but I am bored, probably so are a lot of you. I figured I would start a thing who here has a dog what kind is it, and what is its name.

I have a beautiful yellow lab named GUS yea thats right GUS

Here is my stupid dog. Well that is what we call her cause she is either the smartest stupid dog I have ever seen or the stupidest smart dog. Her name is Oreo. She is part blue heeler, part spaniel, and part who knows what else.

I have a real pain in the butt beagle. Cant let her out for nothing cause see is off to the races. Stupid dog gotta chase all the neighbors pets into the trees. Then i have a black mutt. Lab and hell i dont know. Good dog, will stay close and behaves.

I have a Havenese. It's in the terrier family. We're thinking of breeding him in the next few years. Name is Clifford. We let our boy name the dog. Logan was three at the time. One of his favorite cartoons was Clifford the Big Red Dog. Hence the name......

I had a German Shepard/ coyote mix and his son who was ¾ G. Shepard. Two great, smart dogs.

I know they like to run everywhere some of my family members have a beagle and it likes to run off every chance it gets.

Well its been a bad year for me and my dogs, a year ago I had Reba, a black lab, lost her to heart failure, was with us for 9 years.Bandit, a blue eyed malamute I lost to cancer,was with us for 14 years.Finley, an australian shepard, I lost to kidney failure,was with us for 3 years. Still Have my old Tashi dog, she is just an old street dog that adopted me 9 years ago.

We have three: two female dogs, one old, one young, average weight 60 pounds, and my dog: a 2 year old, mostly Lab male of more than 100 pounds. They are best buddies to our cats, greatfully undergo the abuses heaped upon then by small chidren, and are absolutely goonie over babies. Screw around with any of our family, and these sweetheart dogs will tear you to shreds.

How terrible, Lotsdragon..... I'm so sorry for all your losses

I hope Tashi will live a long life...I imagine she's feeling the losses, too.

We have a Basenji named Lexi. She is our 2nd one and each time they have been rescue dogs that we got when they were 5 years old. We think Lexi was abused or something; she's the most timid little girl I've ever seen, but very sweet and never does anything wrong.

For those who aren't familiar with the breed, they are barkless hunting dogs originally from Africa. They do make some sounds, but they don't "arf arf" like other dogs do. They only "talk" when they're happy or REALLY want to get your attention. They are actually quite cat-like...very independent...clean themselves after meals...unique!

Our dog is EXTREMELY quiet...in 3 years, we've heard her vocalize maybe 10 times, other than quiet whining when she wants to come inside.

Wow, some unique dogs. I have a Rat Terrier, and a Terrier/ Dachsund mix. Both rescues. Good watch dogs, small but they don't know it.

Cool dog, 4Ever. I hear what you're saying about quiet pets. I had a cat that I "rescued" from a family that kept it closed up in a small basement. She lived with me for 14 years and I can count the times that I heard her "meow" on both hands with fingers left over.

At my house, there are Maddie, the schitzophrenic Jack Russell Terror (I spelled it that way on purpose.) and Tegan the rat terrier.
At dad's house live my dog Max, another Jack Russell, and Mike the 150 lb. German Shepherd/Australian shepherd mix. Mike is the burglar alarm, any burglars will be guaranteed to be in a very alarmed state!
