Is the Obama campaign playing a simple game of checkers where Hillary's statement is meant to let Obama off the hook 24 hours prior to the debate? Or is the Obama campaign playing a more complicated game of chess that potentially sets up a powerful presidential moment for Obama?

Think about it: If Obama were to stand up before the American people tonight and thank Hillary for being The Greatest Secretary Of State In The History Of The Americas and then pull her out from under the bus and accept 100% of the responsibility himself, he'd look like some kind of hero.

Doing that would not make a difference. He can't take responsibility for anything, its against his nature and no one with any common sense would see him as a hero.

He did, and it'll backfire on him too. Here is what he said - "I am ultimately responsible". So, he has admitted that it's his fault for 4 diplomats being killed. Now, since he didn't attend the intelligence briefings, it is also he who did not grant the extra requested security so, he killed 4 of our people because he preferred to be blowing money on the campaign trail and hob knobbing with celebrities to beg for donations from them. It isn't going to take much of a push for it to be seen with this spin either.
