In most references they are listed under the importer, Hawes { Long Gone } It is nothing more than the Western Marshal ( Blued ) with a brass back strap and trigger guard. Sauer made a number of Marshals, all the same except for various nickel parts and different grips. In excellent condition like new, it is listed at 175. Unfortunately most of the Sauers I've seen will shoot loose very quickly with a steady diet of 44 Magnums. Hope that helps.

according to a 1972 Hawes catalog the Montana Marshal was the deluxe version of the the Western Marshall model, but a 1968 catalog list it as 22 rimfire deluxe version only.

However, I would not think that Brass grip frame or trigger guard on a 44 Magnum would be any type of improvement.
