Obamacare Devastates Medicare Advantage - The Firearms Forum

I have a medicare advantage plan thru AARP, with Universal Healthcare. I heard this mentioned on Fox, and decided to search for it.
It's a 10 minute video ( 8, really ) that was, for me, a bit depressing. I NEED the advantage plan to help me survive my medical expenses.

In addition to my medical bill assistance, my plan also covers eye care, and glasses.

If your currently covered with a plan, any plan, this is a must see. This cut was supposed to go into effect this October. obozo had it held back until after the election, to keep those of us who have the plan, from knowing about it until it gos into effect next year.

This is really bad news for me and those like me. Rough.

We are in the AARP also -
The discounts available to members are very good, from MANY places, motels, etc.
And if there was ever a group that NEEDED some conservative members to keep raising heck with their policies, it is the AARP!! We sound off, we vote, we do everything we can to help sway this group BACK from their left leaning.

Since the AARP is democratically operated, conservatives that shun them merely help to keep them on the left.

Yes I do. I stopped their magazine. That's about as rebel as I can go. As Terry said, there's many advantages to membership. They have zero competition. So..

IMO, their membership will dwindle to near nothing, once the medicare advantage goes. Most folks think they have to belong to AARP to get 2nd coverage, they do not.

It, the plan, will not entirely disappear, but the monthly fees will come close to tripling, because obozocare is removing 1.4bil in funding.
Healthcare...eye care, and glasses are currently subsidized. Adieu.

I have dental ins. at work. I go in for oral surgery tomorrow. I had to prepay $600 on a $900 bill. Health care is out of control in this country. 19% of GDP. Obama's plan just puts more money in the hand's of the insurance company's.

For what they rob me for in taxes we should have free healthcare.

bHo's bottom-line intent, is to force everyone into a one-payer system. The one payer will be the feds, just like the countries who find themselves collapsing in europe because of socialist hand outs, we are well on our way.. It is unsustainable.
More folks in June filed for disability, than those who found jobs.

Disability is the new Chicken In Every Pot. It doesn't pay a whole lot. But it does beat a blank.

What I had heard is that AARP gets 2 Billion Dollars from Obama care to push it.
I quit AARP many years ago when I found out that they were anti-gun.

We used to have all of our insurance through AARP. Now we have none and are no longer members. As long as I'm able, I'll vote with my wallet.

I quit them for their politics. Joined the Association of Mature American Citizens. Seems to have values I appreciate. I'm not yet Medicare age, so I can't attest to the insurance they offer.
