I can fine no information on how to load for plated bullets. I can find info on jacketed and lead but plated, no.

Do you use jacketed or lead specs OR is load spec different for plated.

Begin with the lead loadings and work up. All plated bullets are not created equally; some begin fouling before others do.

Was thinking about trying Berrys'

I guess it would be prudent to ask for help!

Has anyone got a suggestion/ feedback on plated bullets?

I'm looking at 45ACP.

Didn't Blackgun just load up 1000 or so 45 ACP from berry's?
Why look'st thou so? With my cross bow I shot the Albatross.

Yep, but I also bought 2000 of 230 Gr. L-RN and haven't shot the Berry's yet. I did shoot 50 rounds of the L-RN from Carters Country. I was using WW 231 and the .45 shoot good tight groups with little to no fouling but boy, was the WW 231 dirty at 5.2 Gr. loads. The Berry's cost about $80.00 a thousand and the L-Rn was $52.00 a thousand. Berry's did not charge for shipping and I had to drive 100 miles round trip for the L-RN.

I've used copper-washed (plated?) bullets in my 9mm, .44mag, and .45ACP on and off for a couple years.

No problems at all, but then again I don't push to extreme loadings.

I've just used the Lead loading factors, not one to experiment (not a stickler or anything, jsut too lazy to experiment).
