Boy it sure does. I can't believe they would do this over a malfunction. I wonder how the ATF found out about this anyway unless some jerk at the gun club reported it. I honestly don't think the government has a legitimate argument here...and would expect this man will be cleared. Just hope he can then regain his reserve status...that is if he still wants it.

The part that is really scary is that this could possibly happen to any AR15 owner.

This is actually quite typical of the ATF. I noticed they sent the local boys in first to break the door down. What a bunch of cowards...

This is very typical of the ATF. That poor guy. I know so well what he is going through. He is about to learn that he is up against an orgainization that operates outside of the law and answers to no one. That poor guy....Nobody can help him now.

Too bad that "case law"* prevents defense attorney's from telling jurors about jury nullification.

As informed citizens and potential jurors, we should know that we have the right to find someone innocent even if the technical aspects of the law were broken if we feel the law does not or should not apply to his particular situation.
