Interesting thought.

If you don't need a valid birth certificate to be POTUS, why would a bunch of liberal Europeans care about it for some meaningless award?

Nothing odd about it. Nobel was horrified with war. His explosive was supposed to make war so terrible that nobody would do it anymore.
