Question SKS M59/66A1

I just recently bought an SKS with the idea of putting a synthetic Dragunov style stock on it, but it seems to me after perusing the internet that I might have a semi-rare model. Does anyone have an opinion??? Should I leave it as is with the grenade launcher attachment and night sights etc, I mean, will it eventuallyu be worth something someday? Or should I just go ahead with plan A to make a cool looking little plinking machine?
