Default gun chips

does any one know the price for a chip which carries all the information about the owner of the weapon. am asking this since here in ecuador the president has made mandatory for all wapons to be registered and placed a chip into the weapon that has all the info of the owner and the weapon such as balistics and specs.

if you know something let me know

I heard of this on that show "Future Weapons", suppossedly on "assault" style weapons they can make it to where even only the owner could fire it if i remember correctly. I'd contact your local law enforcement, i'm sure they could direct you to the right place

Do a search for RFID chips. These can be implanted in anything. My company manufactures them and Wally World puts a copy on any box in stock in their stores. Sorry people, big brother is here to stay.

My dog has one imbedded in his neck so he will never get lost.

I can only agree with the use on dogs, too many times good hunting dogs are stolen artound here with the only proof of ownership when the police get involved is, "well he looks like mine, here Spud. See he even came to me". Some concrete evidence would help in these cases. But for anything else, guns for instance, I'm ripping that thing out before I go on my "RAMPAGE".
