It's amazing how much difference replacing the springs can make, Shooter. I once bought a used 9mm S&W auto from a friend of mine for a pittance. He said the pistol was unreliable and basically not worth the powder and shot to blow it to hell, which is why I got it for less than $100. Anyway, I ordered up a full set of replacement springs from Wolff, completely stripped and cleaned the pistol, and then replaced all
springs. When I took it out to shoot, it functioned flawlessly. I later sold it for $350.00.
