Seems like there's more than a few of us in the Atlanta area. Anybody interested in a get-together? Hopefully we can do one at a range.

Let's see:
evilahole, gamachinist, FN_Project90 and ? around Atlanta. Shooter 45 about 1.5 hrs north. Redneck2000 and I are about 2.5-3 hrs NW. I know of some others just can't remember for now. Got some boys in the Carolinas that might make it too. Might get a fair group together. Just don't let Shooter45 pick out the shooting range. |

Got a rectum-load of overtime coming up for 2 months of emergency work on blood diagnostic machines, but I'm game.
I'm about 11 miles south of 285 off of I75. I'd love to get up a big group and scare the she-aht outa the Ga gvt. wondering what new militia group just sprang up. Besides, I'm looking for an excuse to try out the new SKS I spent a good chunk of Sunday cleaning the cosmo off of. |

A Southern get together would be great. But.......right now, I don't know when would be a good time for me. As some of you already know, my Father-in-law died unexpectedly last week and my Mother-in-law is dying of Cancer. My wife is her Mom's caregiver, so I can't make any plans yet.
We could even invite all the Yankee's too. They could bring the grits. Maybe some of the Texicans could come down. Maybe even a couple from a far away place like Mississippi. And don't forget Swanshot |

We'd be game but it would have to be after 16 April!!!!!!!!
I don't know, Shooter. The last time the Yankees invaded us it sure meant trouble!!!!

A bunch of the arfcom guys get together at the Clybel Wildlife Managment Area Range in Jasper County off I 20 East of Atlanta(Charlie Elliot Range ) on Saturdays. It's free, with covered firing points (seperate rifle and handgun ranges). It isn't open to guns on Sunday however.
There is another WMA in Heard County that is open for guns on Sunday(The best day for me).I'm trying to get caught up enough to go check it out (if I can find it!) this Sunday or the next, weather permiting). I've not been able to get away to shoot for several years, so I want to go alone til I get a chance to get back in the swing! Robert. |

Tuck and I went to an Atlanta gunshow one Saturday then decided to do some shooting afterward. I picked Johns Mountain WMA at Resaca,Ga. We drove there and the range was closed.
Never lived that down. Never been back either. ![]() |

gamachinist, don't worry, the only time I've shot in the past 2 years is about a month ago I put the 22 conversion unit on a norinco 1911 and shot up a couple of boxes to relieve some stress. |

I belong to a shotgun only club down here just south of Macon - Clays, Skeet, 5 stand and Trap. A fuzz down the road from the Meadows and hairs cheaper.
I also belong to a club in Macon County - down by Oglethorpe/Montezuma. Covered Rifle points, Skeet, Wobble, and two pistol ranges. Very available - except for the Rimfire 50/50 matches on Saturdays. Anyone down this way let me know and we can hook up. |
