Default Iver Johnson 1900

I have come across a Iver Johnson 1900 pistol that has been in my family for many years. I would like to find out how old it is, caliber size, ammunition type, and what it is worth. The specs are as follows:
IL Double action
model 1900
nickle plated
black plastic grips with owls
5 shot revolver
center fire hammer
2-1/2" barrel
serial #21151 stamped under left grip and trigger gaurd
no pitting or scratches, everything works fine
-Thanks
